Humble beginnings
Starting from the ground up!
Starting a business from the ground up takes time and a lot of patience. Creative Art Design started with some spare time, a little fun with canvas, and making a lot of painting messes! At first it was just a hobby and something to do on the weekends with paint and watching some YouTube videos from fellow artists. Over time, this hobby turned into a passion and an urge to become a recognized artist in the world! When our closet became filled with a bunch of paintings and even family members started to purchase a few of the paintings, it was time to push to the next step.
Every story has a beginning and CADLLC is no different.
Christina is our resident artist and Owner, loving mother of four children and devoted wife of 18 years, US Army Veteran of the US Army Signal Corp (2009-2013), Florida Tech University Alumni holding an MBA in Healthcare Administration and Business Management (2020), and is currently a Security Management Specialist for the Department of the Army as a Federal Civilian at Fort Belvoir Hospital. She hails originally from Illinois and eventually moved to Wisconsin with her parents where she graduated from Badger High School.
Joshua is the co-owner and CEO, loving husband and caring father of four, a fellow US Army Veteran of US Army Armor and Transportation Regiment (2002-Present), Excelsior University Alumni holding an MBA in Leadership (2022), and is currently a Staff Operations and Training Specialist for the Department of the Army as a Federal Civilian at Fort Belvoir and is a Transportation Manger for the US Army Reserves at Fort Belvoir.
A military brat, Josh met Christina in Wisconsin and eventually married in 2004 after high school and have been high school sweet hearts since 2001. He also graduated Badger Highschool, and joined the army shortly after in 2002 after 9/11.
After 20 years of traveling around the world combined between the two, stationed across various areas in Europe, Asia, Middle-East, and several other state side duty stations, they temporarily planted roots in Virginia to establish Careers as DOD Civilians to continue to serve their country after active duty life, while providing some stabilization for their 4 children the time being.
Establishing the LLC was the biggest step in our lives after having children, where our Veteran Owned humble beginnings begin to blossom. Toying with various names, designs, and trying to decide how to launch and advertise the business was the biggest headache, as many entrepreneurs can attest to. Overhead and product actually wasn't the issue! After about a year of mulling, where Josh actually was deployed during the launch of CADLLC in 2021, it was needless to say we encountered some significant challenges along the way.
As we begin to stand up the company, it was amazing to see how the process began! From finally purchasing our LLC to finding the right logo we liked, it was an amazing journey we have only just begun!
As we progress, we will share more of our business and hope that our customers enjoy our product as much as we enjoy making them!
